Setting up AB6

The first place to start when setting up AB6 for the year is the calendar. Use the Bulk Change Tool to edit each term 'en masse' (secondary schools should first tick Timetable and choose the relevant number). A range of dates can be selected by clicking on the first date then holding Shift and clicking the last date.

Once global changes have been made holidays can then 'removed' by clicking into the relevant Status field and pressing the space bar then clicking out of that line.

After the calendar has been saved Period Information can be edited if required.

More detailed notes can be found in the supplied manual and the Document Library on our website.

Support Documents

MUSAC Client Services (the friendly Software Support team) have created documents that explain common issues and provide solutions. The answer to your question may be right here, at the tip of your fingers. The FAQs and support documents are available from the Document Library.

Training

MUSAC highly recommends that all schools regularly employ the skills of our training partners Edtech (North Island - 09 913 9396) or Solutions and Services (South Island - 03 331 6210) to provide onsite training for your staff. Both of these companies have a group of expert trainers able to provide individualised support for schools that can add considerable depth in the ongoing use and deployment of MUSAC software. Regional seminars targeting specific aspects of the software are also offered throughout the year.
